Rund 50 Asylbewerber_innen sind heute am Rindermarkt in München in den Hungerstreik getreten.
From: Striking asylum seekers in Munich - Germany
To: Angela Merkel, Minister President of Germany and Andreas Voßkuhle, President of the Constitutional
Court
We are asylum seekers from different countries who reside around Germany but we came plague of living in isolating camps, exclusion of freedom of movement and every nights nightmare of deportation. We are not willing to live in this situation, even one more day.
We are only alive in these situations while we are aware of why we are here.
We are here because the war, with the weapons and very developed suppression technologies manufactured in your countrie(s), has destroyed our safety in areas where we have born. We are here because hundred years of colonization and exploitation and fatal economic boycotts, have destroyed political and economical infrastructure of peripheral countries. We are here because your political and economical friendships in supporting dictatorships, out of "first world" borders, are closing the ways on forming civil resistance in those geographical areas.
Because of these, we don't see the German government (and other first worlds governments) in the position to ask our reasons of being here or judge about it in its own judicial system. We know living in welfare and safety as a right for everybody and for achieving our earliest rights of humans (right of staying, right of educating, right of working, freedom of movement, right of choosing living place and etc) only one way exists for us and that is acceptation of our asylum applications.
Today in the streets of Munich, in heart of so-called democratic Europe which its human rights slogans scratched everybody's psyche, we are going on hunger strike for getting our number one acceptation of asylum (a16) and the government of Germany only has 3 days for realizing this demand.
Now you are responsible about our life and we want to clarify for everybody that in 21st century, the life of human being is more important or some pieces of paper? Deutsch
